• York Town Board meets every second Tuesday of the month at 8:00 pm
• Plan Commission Committee meets every first Tuesday of the month at 8:00pm

(Any change in meeting dates and times are posted on notice boards located at the York Town Hall, York Memorial Church, and at the Pete Leonard farm on Yankee Hollow Road)

Regular Monthly Board Meeting
January 10, 2012

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Dan Truttmann, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, and Clerk Nancy Anderson. Verification of proper notice was given. After a minor change in the December minutes, Dan Truttmann move to approve the December minutes, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report- Ann presented the December Profit and Loss statement along with the Profit & Loss Budget vs. Actual for the entire year. Some discussion ensued concerning the categorizing of some expenses for the year. A few changes were made to everyone’s satisfaction.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Dan Truttmann, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, and Clerk Nancy Anderson, along with two concerned citizens. Verification of proper notice was given. Dan Truttmann move to approve the November minutes, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report- Ann had done some reclassifying of accounts to reflect expenses more accurately, especially wage withholding.

Bills-Bills were presented for a new truck display, limestone chips, repair parts, reimbursement to Wayne Bue, and a bill from Steve Hermanson for road work done –for a total of $1809.82.

The Property Tax Bills were mailed out on December 9th, please watch for them to arrive in your mailbox.

Collections at the York Town Hall will be on Dec. 31st from 9am to 12pm and on Jan. 28th from 9am to 12 Noon to coincide with recycling center hours. Anyone mailing their payment and wanting a receipt must include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with the necessary postage. Escrow checks exceeding taxes due will be accepted and the overpayment refunded to the taxpayer and mailed out after the next town board meeting. Any two-party checks need to be endorsed by the taxpayer. All payments with post mark date of 12/31/11 and prior will be posted to 2011 taxes.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Dan Truttmann, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, and Clerk Nancy Anderson. Treasurer Report- Ann Carlson presented the October Profit & Loss Budget vs. Actual Report and discussed possibly issuing 1099’s next year for per diems.

Bills- Bills from Advance Concrete, Sloan Implement, General Communications were presented. Ann presented bills for dog license fees and a treasurer’s bond. She also was seeking approval for her tax collection software fee from J. Mauel, the amount yet unknown. Dan Reeson move to approve the bills, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.
